May was another month that I didn’t purchase many books. Unlike March & April, though, I also didn’t receive any from authors either (I currently have my review requests closed) so whereas gifted books can usually make up a chunk of these posts, I don’t have any to talk about! I only received one ARC (from NetGalley and it isn’t even an ARC anymore because I am awful at prioritizing but it was an ARC when I received it so… yea) so the rest are books that I myself purchased this month!
ARC
All the Worlds Between Us – Morgan Lee Miller
New
Again, But Better – Christine Riccio
All the Bright Places – Jennifer Niven
Hold Still – Nine LaCour
The Warden – Anthony Trollope
This is such a short list that I’m now sad and feel the urge to go buy about 10 books. I’m going to refrain… for now, since the reason I bought so few books was because books can be so expensive sometimes and I really should have more will power. On top of that, my rereading lately has kept me from seeking out too many new reads, so at least this month I didn’t add 15 books to my already overflowing TBR/book cases. I’m actually really pleased with this list and excited to read them all (though The Warden is required school reading, I still enjoy classics most of the time and am looking forward to it).
What books did you buy this month? Talk to me (:
That’s a solid list of books you picked up this month! I tried to keep my book buying to a minimum but I broke down and picked up a copy of Sooner or Later Everything Falls Into the Sea to get it signed at an author event last week 🙂

Oooh that’s so cool! I have never gotten to get a book signed by an author (unless bought from B&N that way) so I’m totally jealous! I would’ve broken down and bought the book as well, haha!

I bought Again, but Better (Didn’t like that book), There’s Something About Sweetie, Fake it till you break it…I think that’s it. Might buy another book tonight after work cause yesterday was bad with the AC not working in my apartment. It might be the second Bookish Boyfriends book.

I’ve heard some disappointing things about Again, but Better, so I’ve been putting off reading it. That’s a great list!! Also, I can’t imagine the AC going out in my apartment. That sounds awful!!

OHH, and I bought a signed personalized hardback of Finale! I forgot about that cause I read the eARC but had to complete my physical copy collection.

Oh my goodness that’s so cool! I really want to be able to get a signed & personalized book one day. I haven’t read Finale but I’ve been hearing a lot about the series lately and may check it out!!

I don’t think I bought any books other than a physical copy of Red, White & Royal Blue this month, but I did get ARCs of Call It What You Want by Brigid Kemmerer and It’s a Whole Spiel by various authors!

I’m still mad at myself for not having read Red, White & Royal Blue yet! It sounds so good and everyone has been raving about it!

I don’t buy many books. I tend to get most of mine from my library. I have a big pile of books that I have bought here and there in my “to be read” pile that I need to get to though!

I love library reads because they don’t cost money but I also love buying books because they look so pretty on my shelves 😦 I’m always torn between the two.

I finally read the Lightning Thief and ended up really liking it! I knew I needed to share since we had talked about it when you had finished and I mentioned it was a TBR on my list.

Oh, yay! I’m so glad you liked it! Are you planning to read the whole series??

I can’t wait to read it! And I’ve unfortunately seen a lot of bad reviews on Again, but Better so I’ve been putting it off but I’ll have to get to it sometime haha
