January Wrap-Up

January was actually a pretty good month for me this year. I really need a nice, calm month because things have been way too chaotic. I had a great month as far as this site goes (I got more site views in January than I did in Jan, Feb, March, April, May, August, Sep, Oct, AND Nov 2018… COMBINED!!) and I got a ton done for my re-branding. I also finally reached 300 WordPress followers which means so much to me. It’s been an incredible year working on my own site and getting to meet and connect with so many fellow book lovers and I’m so glad I took the initiative to join last year. So many of you all have had a lot of significance on my life recently and I’m grateful for you all!

Okay, now it’s time to stop being sappy and tell you about my reading for January. I had originally planned in my TBR post to read 11 books but… I only got 9 done. I also completely disregarded my own TBR and read  a lot of books that I wasn’t planning to dive into yet. Fellow mood readers, I know you get me. Here’s what I read!

My average rating for the month was 3.55 and honestly I think that’s a pretty decent start for the new reading year.

What books did you read this month? Did you stick to your TBR unlike me? Talk to me(:

  1. I don’t read as much as you so I only have one, but I think it’s worth mentioning. I have been reading “The hangman’s daughter” based in the 16th century. I usually can’t do historical types but this one has been very interesting. It highlites the differences in the way we see religion and life in general today verses then. If you enjoy this type of thing this book is a great find. Thanks again for another great post! Can’t wait to see the changes to come!
