December TBR

Hi, all! I’ve decided to make a goal this month to post every day of December! I’m not entirely sure that I’ll succeed… but we are going to try. Today, I’m going to share a few other goals with you: my December reading list!

I’m definitely a less organized reader, meaning that I just read books impulsively without much planning. However, I have some NetGalley reads to check out, as well as a few others from a publisher and then just a couple I’m really intrigued by.

Currently Reading…
RoomRoom– Emma Donoghue

I’m working on this one now, but it’s been on my list forever.

To read…
The Manic Pixie Dream Boy Improvement ProjectThe Manic Pixie Dream Boy Improvement Project– Lenore Appelhans

I got this from NetGalley and it honestly looks like it’s going to be such a fun read. It literally takes place in TROPETOWN. Trust that I’ll be letting you know on this one.

The Dead Queens ClubThe Dead Queens Club– Hannah Capin
Another NetGalley approval that I think I’m most excited for. You guys know I’m a sucker for YA novels about alive teenagers trying to figure out what happened to all the dead ones. (Question: How morbid have you guys decided I am? I promise I’m not desensitized to murder. I just like YA thrillers/mysteries)

The Quiet You CarryThe Quiet You Carry– Nikki Barthelmess

My last current NetGalley approval for now! I wanted to engulf in some YA books this month to get some fluff back into my life but I think this one might be a little more on the serious side. We’ll see how it goes.

The Secret Seekers Society and the Beast of Bladenboro (The Secret Seekers Society, #1)The Secret Seekers Society and the Beast of Bladenboro– J.L. Hickey

I got this sent this in PR from Black Rose Writing (who is republishing the series) to check out, along with the second book in the series. It looks like it’ll be a fun fantasy series, and I definitely need to bring some fantasy into my reading.

The Secret Seekers Society and Solomon's Seal (The Secret Seekers Society, #2)The Secret Seekers Society and Solomon’s Seal– J.L. Hickey

If you hadn’t already guessed it, yes, this is the second book in the series I was referring to.

VoxVox– Christina Dalcher

I came across this box in Darnell’s review (which you can read here) and thought it looked really interesting. Her review enticed me to grab it from the library, and it’s actually pretty high priority because I only have a week and a half left with it.

I definitely plan to get in some more if I have the opportunity, but with the holidays, December always proves to be a busy month. Hopefully I can get through all of these and start January off right.

What books do you plan to read this month? Talk to me (:
