Book Collaboration

engaged! (2)

Hey guys! So this is a different type of post then I’ve done before but, as you can probbbbbably already tell, I’m doing a blogger collaboration! Yay!

This collab is with Sometimes Leelynn Reads and I’m super excited about it because we’ve done a few buddy reads together and I absolutely love her and her insights into books. Check her blog out! She has been posting much longer than I have and has tons of content and reviews.

We will be doing this collab on the book When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon. To get this kicked off, I’m posting a Q&A Leelynn completed to help you guys get to know her a little better since we will be doing future collabs on books in the future as well. If you’re interested in reading my Q&A, check it out here.

Sooooo, let’s get started!

Q1: Three words to describe yourself.
A1: Tired. Excited. Loving.

Q2: Tell me a little about your blog and what motivated you to start it.
A2: My blog mostly has all of my reviews of the books that I’ve read starting in 2014. I wanted to have a place where I can look back at my reviews in one central location. It also gives me a visual of how my review style has changed from the beginning of my blog to now. I like the progress I’ve made!

Q3: What’s your favorite genre? What is your favorite book within this genre?
A3: Young Adult Fantasy! Anything that has to do with someone saving the world is what I like to read. My favorite book in this genre would be Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo.

Q4: What is your least favorite genre? Do you have a book in this genre that surprised you and that you still enjoyed?
A4: Adult Romance. I hate having to read about sex in a book that’s so over the top! Or having to see adults trying to not cheat on their spouses or whatever. It just bothers me. So far, I haven’t, but I’m hoping that changes!

Q5: Who is your favorite author?
A5: Leigh Bardugo, Richelle Mead, Angie Thomas (I can’t pick just one!)

Q6: Do you have a deserted island book? If so, what is it?
A6: Hmm…. I don’t think I do, actually! I’ll need recommendations for this.

Q7: Without naming the book, which book could you absolutely not love no matter how much you wanted to? Explain why.
A7: So it has to do with werewolves, and they change based on the temperature. The first book was alright, but the second one is irritating me! The main girl character is way too lovesick and is starting to behave like such a brat that I just can’t be on her team.

Q8: How many books are you hoping to read this year?
A8: 30 books, which it looks like I will hit my goal! If I pass 30, then I will feel accomplished.

Q9: What is your favorite part about being in the book community (besides the reading, of course)?
A9: I love seeing everyone’s opinions about books, and getting recommendations! I also love seeing all the beautiful photos on instagram.

Q10: Three words to describe your love for reading.
A10: Always and Forever.

Don’t you guys just love that last answer? I know I do.

Check back in for an update on this collab 🙂
